Description
Three lighted kneeling sculptural figures in the Jaume Plensa installation, "Tolerance" observe late night traffic along Allen Parkway in Houston, Texas.
The sculptures are composed of alphabetic characters from many languages to symbolize the diversity of the city. Plensa, who said he "grew up in a forest of books," sees the letter as a beautiful metaphor for human beings.

Hi Mick, I think that you were even more generous with this comment. Thanks! Yes, the lighted sculptures are visible from the nearby roadway, and they are quite arresting, and very beautiful. I certainly appreciate the f/v!

As I think I said before, nice exposure and composition! The car lights in the roadway actually add to this shot... you have to wonder if the driver is seeing these lighted figures looking toward the roadway... Yeah, I like it :) f/v
