Description
Until his death, this was the residence of Georges Clemenceau, grandson of the French Premier during WWI. Monsieur Clemenceau, an elegant white-haired gentlemen, could be seen walking his small dog daily in the neighborhood. I encountered him one evening and complimented him on the dog. He stated in a very Maurice Chevalier accent that he had been walking his dog around this block for the last 30 years. Then, chuckled and added, "Not the same dog though!"
Part of my Black Peal Series. For additional information see Gallery Description.
