Sometimes as a photographer, I happen to be in just the right place at the right time. This was one such experience. This image was taken in Rome at Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini (Church of the Most Holy Trinity of Pilgrims) where the light rays were captured streaming in through the apse windows above the altar. The scene seems touched by a holy light. My title found inspiration in a Willie Nelson tune.

Cheri Randolph was awarded a degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans with a concentration in the study of Art History. She credits printmaker, Calvin Harlan , a UNO professor, as being quite influential in her composition techniques as well as painter, Ida Kohlmeyer with a better understanding of color. Pictorialism would best describe her current work, stylistically. Cheri has expressed her artistic talents in a variety of ways including; wheel-thrown pottery, quilting, vintage clothing restoration, interior decorative painting and photography.
