Description
Carnevale in Italy is a huge winter festival celebrated with parades, masquerade balls, entertainment, music, and parties. Children throw confetti at each other. Mischief and pranks are also common during Carnevale, hence the saying A Carnevale Ogni Scherzo Vale, anything goes at carnival.

Love Italian masks, and this is one of the best images I've seen of one, the movement and the blurred quality only adding to the mystery! V/F

Maria, I'm glad that you enjoyed this one, and the processing to give it a more mysterious appearance. Thanks very much for your V/F!

Hi William, Thanks for the comment & vote. The answer for me is "Si" as well. I am second generation Italian/American. My Grandmother was from the little village of Valmadonna and my Grandfather is a member of the Repossi family from Turin, both in northern Italy. Unfortunately, I speak only a little Italian, although more and more comes back as I am here longer.
