Kym, thanks for such a nice compliment! Yes, I do really love mid-century designs in so many things because it seems as if things were more individual and had a more artistic character then, whereas today everything looks so similar in design. Regarding this guy who is driving the Pink car, from the look of him, I think that he can handle any teasing that comes his way :-) Thanks for the V/F!

Looks like a '54 Chevy. They did come in light pink, if I remember right, but this is definitely a repaint. Those modern vehicles in the background look interesting too-- a bus and a rail train? V!
Cheri Randolph replied:
Hi Byron, Yes, you're correct according to my research. I believe it is a '54 Chevy Belair. I had made a note in the key words, but have added that info to the description. Unfortunately, those are tour buses in the background. I didn't really want to include them, but didn't want to miss capturing this car which came around pretty quickly. I didn't see any trains at all while there. Thanks for voting!

Stephen, You have heard correctly. They are very innovative and creative and utilize EVERYTHING to the max. It is absolutely not a disposable society as ours is. Thanks for commenting.

It is a great car. I've read that since the embargo, the Cubans have kept up their rides since they can't get new ones.

Thanks for commenting and the v/f, Steve. It does make quite a statement, doesn't it?

Oh this is simply divine! Anyone seeing this would stop dead in their tracks for sure. GREAT shot, Cheri! f/v
Cheri Randolph replied:
Hi Joy, I'm glad that you enjoyed this one. I first processed it to enter it in the "Pink Contest" that is coming up, then I realized how it popped off the screen and would make a really neat acrylic print. Appreciate your f/v!

Lawrence, I'm glad that you appreciated this one - it's certainly a statement, isn't it?
