I recall clotheslines from my childhood. It's not a sight we see very often today. A bit of nostalgia...very colorful, well seen and taken. Voted.
Cheri Randolph replied:
Janice, Thanks for your compliment and vote. Actually, at my house we still use 'em - love that fragrance of laundry dried in the sunshine.

LIke the multiple clothes lines which are probably on pulleys to pull in the window to un pin, but surely is a cool conception, Cheri! fave and vote
Cheri Randolph replied:
Randy, glad that you enjoyed this colorful shot! You are correct that the clothes line is on a pulley that passes by the window to hang out the clothes and take them in. Thanks for the v/f!

Fantastic capture. Fav, vote and PIF. Well done.
Cheri Randolph replied:
Thanks, Mark! Appreciate you selecting this for your pay it forward choice, and for your generous promotion of the photo.

Hi Cheri - great colours, and as someone else commented there's something quite compelling actually about the items of clothing themselves - I think also because it's in colour brings out the real existence of these as someone's clothes that they'll be wearing just the next day. (V - M&N)
Cheri Randolph replied:
Andy, thanks for your thoughtful comment. You're correct - it's sort of an exposure in a personal sort of way. Appreciate your promotional support.

Really like this photo! Reminds of the times when we did not have clothe dryers. People say and I agree that method makes the clothe maintain a special freshness ... I really like the "terracota" color of the wall, the fact that you also capture minute imperfections in it and having it juxtaposed against the hanging clothes. F/V/tweeted
Cheri Randolph replied:
Sandra, Thanks for such a very nice compliment and analysis of the photo. I also appreciate your generous promotional support!

Anne, thanks for the nice compliment and the support. I hadn't thought of how revealing it could be. Guess that's where the phrase about not airing your 'dirty laundry' originated.

Cheri, There is something about laundry drying outside on a line that is appealing to me... It is like a personal glimpse into the life of someone we will never meet. I like the composition & colors here as well F/V.
