Description
I "captured" this leopard mid-day hiding up in a tree branch in the New Oleans Audubon Zoo, and was reminded of the Kipling poem describing how all the big cats run back to the safety of their trees at the break of day.
"One moment past our bodies cast
No shadow on the plain;
Now clear and black they stride our track,
And we run home again.

Cheri, Fantastic wildlife capture, love the details on this leopard and the way you have captured his facial features. As always they say the eyes of a animal or human are the most important and you have done a great job here of capturing the leopards eyes. Fantastic photo, voted, Tweet, FB and Google promoted and chosen as my Pay It Forward in the group, Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery
