Hemingway Hangout metal print by Cheri Randolph. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

“My mojito in La Bodeguita, my daiquiri in El Floridita”
—Ernest Hemingway
El Floridita, was first opened at this site in 1817, but the name became identified about 100 years later. In addition to Ernest and Mary Hemingway, other celebs were regular patrons including; Spencer Tracy, Ezra Pound, and Graham Greene among others. A creative bartender/owner designed a new drink in the early 1930s called the 'frozen daiquiri', and the rest, as they say, is history!
About Cheri Randolph
Cheri Randolph was awarded a degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans with a concentration in the study of Art History. She credits printmaker, Calvin Harlan , a UNO professor, as being quite influential in her composition techniques as well as painter, Ida Kohlmeyer with a better understanding of color. Pictorialism would best describe her current work, stylistically. Cheri has expressed her artistic talents in a variety of ways including; wheel-thrown pottery, quilting, vintage clothing restoration, interior decorative painting and photography. Rene, thanks for your comment and suggestion. I had intended to process a few of these in monotones because of the vintage nature of many of the subjects, but hadn't gotten to it because of recent extensive travel. Cheri, Great photo of the past in the present. The color stand out is fabulous......... I would love to see you ALSO post this great capture in Monochrome. Color is great, but there is certain mystique of keeping the past in the past and that is excellently accomplished in B/W...V PS. If you decide to also do monochrome, be sure to have good sharp contrast of the whites and the blacks. (which is difficult to accomplish)
