About Cheri Randolph
Cheri Randolph was awarded a degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans with a concentration in the study of Art History. She credits printmaker, Calvin Harlan , a UNO professor, as being quite influential in her composition techniques as well as painter, Ida Kohlmeyer with a better understanding of color. Pictorialism would best describe her current work, stylistically. Cheri has expressed her artistic talents in a variety of ways including; wheel-thrown pottery, quilting, vintage clothing restoration, interior decorative painting and photography. Sydne, just saw your earlier comment. I'm glad that this one was meaningful to you. The cottage itself is in the Bywater Area between the French Quarter and the Mississippi River, it is so brightly painted that it immediately attracts your attention.

I had to favorite this capture because I swear I had a dream of it long ago. Strangest thing. Bringing the reflection of the home and shutters onto the street is brilliant!
