Philip, I am complimented that you found "Chicken Man" to be a favorite. Since you have been to Cuba, do you know the significance of this pose of the farmer with a chicken on his head? I saw it reproduced in many paintings, but cannot discover the story.

Thanks, Bruce. Actually, I would too. I saw painted images of a farmer with a chicken on his head in a number of places in Cuba, but I have not yet been able to learn what the significance is, even after searching on the internet. If anyone out there can enlighten me, please do so.
